Family Nutrition Consulting

My passion and specialty really shines through when I get to work with the whole family, especially when the focus is on the kiddos. I work to help parents feed their families with confidence, providing practical tools and resources to raise healthy, intuitive eaters from the start. Being a mom myself allows me to not only offer my expertise around nutrition but also understand the challenges that come with feeding small children! 

Family Nutrition Consulting helps families implement a strategy around food and meals that addresses the concerns, while also putting everyone at ease. I work with families to plan meals that are healthy and enjoyable for everyone, while teaching methods that allow parents to feel confident in their food choices and kiddos to learn how to like a variety of foods. Together, we can help empower kiddos to have a healthy relationship with food and to understand how to fuel their body. 

I specialize in an evidence-based, holistic approach and offer both nutrition and lifestyle support for the following areas:

Individual Nutrition Consulting

Individual consulting means working one-on-one with individuals to support their goals. Whether it’s for a chronic condition like PCOS, endometriosis, irritable bowel syndrome, allergies/intolerances or an overhaul of current habits, I can support you on your nutrition journey. Using motivational interviewing methods and habit building principles, I work with you to establish changes that last a lifetime. 

Individual consulting requires a one hour consultation, where I grab detailed information regarding your medical history, current lifestyle and eating patterns. From there, I will inform you of the areas that require attention, set some realistic goals and provide tips, education and resources, where needed.

Nutrition Education

Sprout offers a wide range of group presentations, from corporate wellness, staff education or information sessions for parents.

Nutrition education from a registered dietitian informs your audience with the most up-to-date, evidence-based information around food, health and lifestyle. Dietitians are well-versed on the various trends, themes and fads that can cause confusion and disruption in a person’s journey to wellness. Armed with knowledge and a desire to support people, a dietitian can speak to your group to increase accessibility to reliable information that can start a group shift towards wellness. 

Food demos can be a part of this education, whether or not workshops and presentations are held virtually or in person.

Industry Collaborations

Sprout Nutrition is ready to collaborate with the food community. I’m happy to provide professional guidance and reviews for: 

  • Standardized menu reviews and revisions

  • Menu and recipe development

  • Collaboration for workplace wellness initiatives and/or programs

Seedling Package | $275

The Seeding Package is for those looking to do a ‘nutrition check-up’ to make sure you’re on track to prevent chronic disease, simplify nutrition planning, or improve fueling around exercise. 

Package includes: 

  • One 1-hour comprehensive initial assessment with a personalized care plan.

  • One 45 minute follow up session. 

  • Email support for the duration of our time together.

Sprout Package | $365

The Sprout Package is for those looking for more than 'just a check up,' We will focus on behaviour adjustments, habit formation and transformational meal planning skill building.

Package includes: 

  • One 1-hour comprehensive initial assessment with a personalized care plan.

  • Two 45 minute to 1-hour follow-up sessions. 

  • Email support for the duration of our time together. 

 
 

Premium | $455

Need a nutrition overhaul? The Premium Package is great for you if you’re looking to make a lasting impact on your health and wellness. We will work together to heal challenging nutrition behaviours and limiting beliefs attached to your relationship with food.  

Package includes: 

  • One 1-hour comprehensive initial assessment with a personalized care plan.

  • Three 45 minute to 1-hour follow up sessions. 

  • Email support for the duration of our time together. 

 A La Carte 

A simple option for those who want one off sessions and follow-up discussions. 

  • $160 initial consultation.

  • $65 - $130 follow-up (30 - 60 minutes).

  • Nope!

  • Yes, a variety of tools may also be used or provided. Tools can include recipes, meal planning, grocery list templates and specific handouts or factsheets.

  • Yes. I offer direct billing to all major insurance companies. Please check with your current provider what services are included in your individual coverage plan.
